RugSmart Trade Program Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions set forth the terms and conditions for membership in the RugSmart Trade Program. RugSmart may change the RugSmart Trade Program or these Terms & Conditions from time to time. RugSmart will post such changes on this page. Any changed Terms & Conditions become effective immediately upon being posted here, and your continued use of membership constitutes your agreement to the changed Terms & Conditions.

Trade Discount

The trade discount is not valid with any other offer, purchase of sale items, or any fees such as shipping charges or taxes. The trade discount is not redeemable for cash. RugSmart reserves the right to change the list of items not eligible for the trade discount at its discretion. Any such changes will be posted on this page, as changed Terms & Conditions, discussed in the preceding paragraph. Members may cancel their membership at any time and for any reason by contacting RugSmart.

Qualifying

To qualify, proof of a design-based profession must be submitted. As proof, please submit the two following documents:

• Current retail business license or federal resale tax certificate
• Personalized business ID (i.e. business card or cancelled payroll check)

OR a copy of valid membership to:

• ASID American Society of Interior Designers or international affiliate
• IIDA International Interior Design Association
• AIA American Institute of Architects
• IDS Interior Design Society
• CID Certified Interior Decorators International
• National Council for Interior Design Qualification Certificate Number

We reserve the right to make all membership determinations at our sole discretion. Each designer must individually apply for membership by submitting business cards with the firm's qualifications.

Membership

Membership is not transferable and can only be used by the named account holder. For in store purchases, the named account holder must present valid photo identification to receive the trade discount at time of purchase.

Misuse of membership may result in membership termination. Misuse includes, without limitation: use of the trade discount for personal purchases, any resale of merchandise purchased using the trade discount through any retail outlet (e.g., resale on or through any retail or auction Web site or store), reimbursement of trade discount upon merchandise return, transfer of membership, allowing others to use the membership account (e.g., sharing the account with a client), and submitting false, expired or misleading information in connection with a membership application.

Termination

RugSmart reserves the right to terminate a membership at its discretion, with or without notice to the member. RugSmart reserves the right to cancel the RugSmart Trade Program at its discretion, with or without notice to members.
